About Me
I'm Teresa (she/her)—a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula who takes a laid-back, flexible approach to supporting families. Every baby is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all way to navigate the newborn stage. My goal is to provide guidance without pressure, helping you tune into your instincts and find what works best for your family.
I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, where being surrounded by nature shaped a lot of who I am. When the weather is warm (because this PNW winter is not it), I love getting outside for a hike. But more than anything, I find my sense of purpose in community—whether through my nonprofit, volunteering, or helping out at my son’s school. Giving back is something I hope to pass on to him, and it keeps me grounded. When I do carve out some time for myself, I love making art and just slowing down for a moment.
I became a mom young, and that experience shaped everything about how I support families now. My son, now seven, taught me that the early days are messy, beautiful, and completely unpredictable—and that’s okay. My job is to bring a calm, grounded energy into your space, offering knowledge, reassurance, and a steady presence while you find your own rhythm. Whether you’re welcoming your baby home after birth or a NICU stay, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible.
